Ron (Japanese: リュウ Ryū) is a character from Pokémon Adventures and is Clair's disciple.
Character
Ron was considered to be interested in Clair as seen when he mentioned about her family history.
History
Ron was first seen battling Clair. Even though he put up a great fight, his Seadra could not handle her Dragonair. After the loss, he became depressed about it. Clair then told Ron that he needed more training in order to defeat her. Ron was then interested in the fact that Clair was a Gym Leader of Blackthorn and the granddaughter of the Dragon Clan Elder. After Ron mentioned that her brother Lance was the only person she lost to, Clair got upset and kicked him.
Ron then reappeared in a flashback in VS Koffing when Silver returned the Rising Badge that he stole years earlier.
Pokémon
| Ron's Seadra | ||
| Seadra is Ron's only known Pokémon. It battled with Clair's Kingdra first. As Seadra was about to use a combination of Twister and SmokeScreen to prevent its evolved form from doing anything, Clair switched her Kingdra for Dragonair and prevented itself from taking any damage with Safeguard. Afterwards, Seadra was finished off with a DragonBreath.
