Roxie (Japanese ホミカ Homika) is a Gym Leader in Unova in Pokémon Black and White 2. She specializes in Poison-type Pokémon. She gives the Toxic Badge to Trainers who defeat her.
In the games
Roxie appears in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 as a Gym Leader. She is a musician who plays the bass guitar. Her Gym is a music club. Trainers who defeat Roxie will receive the Toxic Badge, along with TM09 (Venoshock).
In the anime
Roxie appeared in Rocking the Virbank Gym! (Part 1) and Rocking the Virbank Gym! (Part 2). She is a powerful Gym Leader, defeating everyone who dared to challenge her with only three Pokémon. When Ash arrived at her Gym, she was thrilled to see his Pikachu, as she too had a Pokémon originating from Kanto, Koffing, and happily accepted his challenge.
Roxie proved herself to be a very capable Gym Leader, defeating five of Ash's six Pokémon despite being at a disadvantage in terms of her party. She would occasionally perform a riff on her bass during the battle, and the crowd would chant her name. When she was defeated she happily congratulated Ash as the crowd cheered for his victory, and she presented him with his eight and final Unova Badge, the Toxic Badge.
This listing is of Roxie's known Pokémon in the anime:
- Roxie is the first Poison-type Gym Leader outside of Kanto.
- Her bass is styled similarly to the Venipede evolutionary family.
- She is the first Gym Leader to appear in the anime before her debut game.
- Both Roxie and Janine have known fathers in the series. Unlike Roxie's father, Janine's father was also a Poison-type Gym Leader.

|| Likely a combination of the music genre "Rock", and "Toxic".
