This card was released as one of the SM Black Star Promos, made available in the English Alola Collection on November 18, 2016. In Japan, it was released as part of the Pikachu's New Friends Collection. This card was later available in the General Mills Sun & Moon Mini Packs found in marked cereals as a Sequin Holofoil, beginning August 22, 2017.
