Ross (Japanese: ロッシ Rossi) is a minor character who appeared in Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias. He is a resident of Alto Mare in Johto and a local gondolier.

In the movies

Ross was the reigning champion of the Tour de Alto Mare, a very fast and twisty water chariot race through Alto Mare. With the help of his speedy Wailmer, Ross has been able to win numerous times. However, Ash and Misty both wanted to challenge his winning streak.

He admitted that Misty was a very good racer, and offered Ash and the others a ride around the city in his gondola.

During the gondola tour, Ross informed Misty of the symbolism of her new glass medallion and spoke briefly about Alto Mare's two guardians, Latias and Latios. Afterwards, Ross bade them farewell and went on his way. He was last seen in the ending credits, showing more people around Alto Mare.

Ross later appeared in a flashback during the opening sequence of Destiny Deoxys. He also briefly reappeared in a montage in The Rise of Darkrai, which chronicled the preceding nine movies.
