Romeo (Japanese: ロメオ Romeo) is a character of the day who appeared in Love at First Flight.
Romeo was deeply in love with Juliet, but unfortunately he always became very nervous when he was around her. This affected the show the two put on with their Volbeat and Illumise, as it caused him to bumble through his performance motions.
However, in the end they admitted their love for each other and they were able to put on a great show.

| Romeo has a Volbeat named Beat (Japanese: ビート Beat), who falls in love with Juliet's Illumise. It first appeared practising with Illumise, but Romeo's clumsiness causes them to all fall into the water and it has to be saved Brock's Lotad. It appear again when Romeo shows Ash and his friends the routine. Romeo then uses Beat to find Illumise who has disappeared but then Team Rocket appear and suck up the other Volbeat, Beat uses Double-Edge to try and destroy it. freeing the Volbeat, Beat along with the other Volbeat uses a five-way Signal Beam attack, effectively blasting Team Rocket off.
In the end Beat along with the rest of the gang performs perfectly for the festival. Beat's known moves are Tail Glow, Double-Edge and Signal Beam. | ||

They first appeared practising with Beat and Illumise, but Romeo's clumsiness causes them to all fall into the water and has to be saved by Brock and Ash's Pokémon. They appear again when Romeo shows Ash and his friends the routine. Romeo then uses his Volbeat to find Illumise but then Team Rocket appear and suck them up but is et out by Beat's Double-Edge. Illumise uses Sweet Scent to stop them from being sucked up, Romeo calls for a five-way Signal Beam attack, effectively blasting Team Rocket off.
In the end the Volbeat along with the rest of the gang performs perfectly for the festival. Volbeat's known moves are Tail Glow and Signal Beam. | ||
