The Rocket Scout

The Rocket Scout (Japanese: 勧誘のばあさん Solicitor Old Lady) is a character of the day in Dues and Don'ts. Her job is to find worthy candidates for Team Rocket members.

The Scout re-recruits Jessie, James, and Meowth back into Team Rocket after looking in the computer system and finding that they weren't in it. When the trio find out that their membership with Team Rocket had expired, they were shocked.

Initially, she presents them with a TRDelibird ([[{{{2}}} (move)|{{{2}}}]]) in a cage with a recorded message, claiming that she had "caught ever so many of this Pokémon," so she was "leaving it here" for them to catch. Promptly after their defeating of it, she asked them to join the real Team, as they were clearly "fake, phony frauds". After an evaluation of their membership cards, she informed them of how they had not paid the necessary dues and had been booted out of Team Rocket altogether. After they decide to rejoin, she informs them that they must defeat a group of trainers before joining and, coincidentally, selects the twerps as reasonable candidates. Even after using the help of Delibird, Jessie and James were defeated in battle. After their defeat, she decided that they could still join, as the Team was suffering from a lack of members. The same Delibird can be seen in seven episodes afterwards, collecting Team Rocket fees from Jessie and James.

		Main article: Delibird (Team Rocket) This Delibird belongs to the Rocket Scout, but it seems to belong more to the team than to her. This is due to the fact that it follows Jessie, James, and Meowth around often to collect the money that they owe. Delibird has also been seen giving them other tasks, as well.
