- The Trainer's face displayed in the leader's box on this card is that of the Iron-Masked Marauder. This is the only Team Rocket card in the VS set that does this; other Team Rocket cards in the set picture a male Team Rocket Grunt in the leader's box.
- This is the only card where the Iron-Masked Marauder's face is displayed in the leader's box on a Japanese card that wasn't released in English.
