This card was released as a promotional card. The Japanese version of this card was released in CoroCoro magazine in August 2001. The English version of this card was released at BattleZone events in January 2003.
In Japan, this card was available as an insert with the August 2001 issue of ''CoroCoro Comic'', released on July 15, 2001. The English version of this card was released at BattleZone events in January 2003. There were two versions, one includes a gold "Winner" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork and the other did not. A Jumbo version of the card was also released with the winner logo.
