Reversal (Japanese: きしかいせい Reversal) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation II that deals a varying amount of damage. It can be considered the inverse of Eruption and Water Spout.

Effect

Reversal doesn't have a standard Power; rather, it inflicts greater damage when the user's HP is lower. Reversal's power is calculated as follows:

User's Remaining HP Power
71% - 100% 20
36% - 70% 40
21% - 35% 80
11% - 20% 100
5% - 10% 150
1 HP - 4% 200

Description

Games Description
An attack that increases in power if the user's HP is low. It could turn the tide in battle.
Stronger if the user's HP is low.
RSE Inflicts more damage when the user’s HP is down.
FRLG
An all-out attack that becomes more powerful the less HP the user has.
