- The non-holographic versions of Groudon, Hitmontop, and Lucario are exclusive to this deck, as they only appear as holographic cards in the main set.
- The holographic version of Lucario has a foil treatment also exclusive to this deck, as Lucario cards in the main set have the normal holographic treatment.
Like other Theme Decks, Retort also includes a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, a custom coin (Lucario), one single-player mat, a card list (inside the rulebook), Lucario deckbox and one bonus Call of Legends booster pack.
