Fearow debuted as a Spearow in the first episode of the anime. It attacked Ash and Pikachu after Ash threw a rock at it. Its second and final appearance was in Pallet Party Panic, where it was shown to have evolved into a Fearow. It battled against Ash's Pidgeotto, who soon evolved into a Pidgeot. Ash attempted to capture the Fearow while riding on Pidgeot's back. Despite its weakened state, he was still unable to capture it, and he left Pidgeot behind to guard against any future attacks. This Fearow was seen in a flashback in Fighting Flyer with Fire.

Ho-Oh is the second recurring wild Pokémon in the anime, making three appearances.

After Ash and Pikachu were exhausted from fighting a flock of Spearow, Ash saw a glimpse of Ho-Oh flying over a rainbow. The Pokédex couldn't record the data of Ho-Oh, as it was unknown at the time. Since then, it would often fly around.

Jigglypuff's first appearance was in The Song of Jigglypuff. At first it couldn't sing, but that changed once Brock gave it a piece of fruit which soothed its throat. Jigglypuff is perhaps best known, however, for its running gag. Whenever it saw that its song put its listeners to sleep, it would inflate angrily, making a distinctive "honk" sound, then doodle over the faces of its audience with its marker.

Ash and ashfr first encountered the Clefairy after their spacecraft crashed near Viridian City in Clefairy Tales. The Clefairy resorted to stealing items, including Jigglypuff's signature microphone marker and Pikachu, from across a nearby town to rebuild their spaceship.

The group, along with Oswald and Jigglypuff, tracked the Clefairy to an underground cave and stormed the spaceship to recover Jigglypuff's microphone and Pikachu. Jigglypuff ended up defeating all of the Clefairy with Pound, but the spacecraft still took off because of its preset launch, though the group and Jigglypuff escaped. Oswald remained on board until the spaceship crashed again in another village. The Clefairy once again stole the locals' items to return to orbit.

The group re-encountered the Clefairy in Wish Upon a Star Shape, after their spacecraft crashed into a Johto mountainside. Prior to the crash-landing, the Clefairy beamed a Cleffa to safety, and it landed on Ash's Phanpy. Cleffa quickly struck up a friendship with Phanpy. It later led everyone to the crash site while also trying to escape TRT and the Pokémon Mystery Club (PMC).

Personality and characteristics
First seen in Galar
The Clefairy group is a close-knit clan. The group's leader wears a signature daisy flower on its ear. They resort to theft to repair their spacecraft, though the stolen items often prove to be unreliable and cause their spacecraft to crash frequently.

Prior to The Lost Lapras, a young member of the herd had somehow strayed away from its mother and the others, and ended up being stranded on the beaches of Tangelo Island. Ash and ashfr rescued the young Lapras from a trio of unruly boys who were attacking it. Later, Ash promised to help return Lapras to its herd and went on to caught it.

In Viva Las Lapras, Ash and his friends finally located Lapras's school off the coast of Tarroco Island. However, the group wanted nothing to do with Ash's Lapras and they swam away. Later, Ash's group rescued the school from Captain Crook and his crew of Pokémon poachers, and Ash's Lapras subsequently returned to the herd.

Ash and his friends met Naomi, a marine biologist and Lapras expert, near New Bark Town, in Lapras of Luxury. They also re-encountered Ash's Lapras and its herd as they continued their annual migration from the Orange Islands to the Johto region. Ash's Lapras became the leader of the herd after it defeated TRT, who were attempting to snatch the group. The Lapras herd later left to continue their migration.

Personality and characteristics
The Lapras school prefer to live in peace and attempt to avoid direct confrontation. They are incredibly fearful of people, largely because of attacks from keen Pokémon poachers in the past. To those they trust, the Lapras were shown to be incredibly faithful.

Ash and ashfr first encountered Suicune as they were heading towards New Bark Town in Don't Touch That 'dile. Suicune was seen standing on a small island in a lake, appearing as a mysterious silhouette of blue energy. At first, Ash did not understand what Pokémon it was and wanted to caught it. However, Suicune leaped into the fog and vanished as soon as Ash made an attempt to battle it.

Suicune appeared once again in For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!. After TRT had removed the Crystal Bells from Ecruteak's Tin Tower, many Bug Pokémon invaded the city. They wrapped Jessie, James and MTR in a String Shot and blocked off the entry to the Tin Tower. Suicune appeared in a mystical blue light and calmed the wild Pokémon down. Seeing the Legendary Pokémon, Jessie had Jessie launch a Poison Sting, but Suicune evaded the attack and sent Team Rocket blasting off with an Aurora Beam.

Eusine wanted to catch Suicune and sent out his Alakazam to battle it. Alakazam used Disable, but Suicune easily blocked it with a Mirror Coat. It then used Roar to send Alakazam back into its Poké Ball and fled from the area before Eusine could even react. The brief encounter led Eusine to pursue Suicune, in the hopes of seeing it again one day.

Personality and characteristics
Suicune was a calm Pokémon. It avoids direct confrontation and responds swiftly to anyone with immoral intentions. Suicune's few appearances and sudden disappearances maintain its mysterious nature and keeps it enshrouded in folklore.

The Pichu Brothers were first introduced in Pikachu & Pichu, where they met Ash's Pikachu. Pikachu was lost after falling off a nearby building, in which Ash was planning a party celebrating the anniversary of when he and Pikachu first met. Pikachu and the Pichu Brothers went all throughout the town chased by a Houndour who eventually helped them when the local Pokémon Playhouse was collapsing.

They also have a number of friends living in Big Town that regularly take part in their adventures. They have all made appearances in various side story episodes, as well as a cameo at the beginning of Giratina and the Sky Warrior, and the gang have also received their own game for the Pokémon mini, Pichu Bros. mini.

Todd first spotted Articuno from a distance as it flew across the sky in Moving Pictures, and again in Spring Fever. Its multiple appearances led Todd, Ash, and ashfr to Snowtop Mountain in Freeze Frame.

Its presence was likely responsible for the extended cold conditions that affected the south slope and Sunflora Lodge featured in Moving Pictures. This caused all of the wild Sunflora to abandon the area, which nearly spoiled Sophia and Marcello's 50th wedding anniversary photograph with the Sun Pokemon. Luckily, a newly-evolved Sunflora was able to bring back the warmer conditions with Sunny Day and call the other Sunflora out of hiding.

In Freeze Frame, the group stumbled across Jigglypuff, who was Freeze in ice. After being defrosted, Jigglypuff indicated that it had seen Articuno and pointed to Snowtop Mountain, affirming Todd's beliefs. Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny also knew that an Articuno had been frequenting the area because of a traveler's tale from 1,200 years ago.
Later, Articuno rescued TRT after they were stranded on an ice ledge over a crevasse. Despite helping the trio, Team Rocket became set on capturing the legendary bird after Todd confirmed its identity. During their first attempt, Jessie had Jessie use Mirror Coat to deflect one of Articuno's Ice Beams at it. This caused some icy debris to hit Articuno and send it down a crevasse, which Todd and Ash also fell into, while Pikachu and Jigglypuff followed after them. Articuno eventually overcame its injuries and saved both Ash and Todd from hitting the ground below. Team Rocket later landed nearby and tried to capture Articuno for a second time, but it sent them, along with Jigglypuff, blasting off with a powerful Blizzard.

As the sun rose, Articuno's blue plumage sparkled in the light. It then stayed still for a moment, allowing Todd to take his photograph, before flying off.

Personality and characteristics
Articuno remains a mysterious Pokémon. It will, however, make an appearance to protect traveling Trainers from becoming victims to the harsh cold and crevasses around Snowtop Mountain like it did for TRT, as well as Todd and Ash in Freeze Frame.

Wynaut is a wild Pokémon who followed Ash, ashfr, and TRT around Blackthorn City.

Wynaut briefly appeared in Fangs for Nothin during one of Jessie's tirades. It stole a plate of food from TRT. Jessie was the first to notice, but it was blamed for the act.

In Great Bowls of Fire, Wynaut poked its arm out of the bushes while Ash, ashfr, Clair, and Liza returned to the Blackthorn Gym.

Liza left some food for Charla to enjoy in Better Eight Than Never, but Wynaut quickly snatched the meal without anyone noticing.

Wynaut's only major appearance was in Why? Wynaut!. While Team Rocket was spying on Ash and his friends, Wynaut stole their snack, and Wobbuffet was once again blamed. Later, Team Rocket disguised themselves as reporters and managed to steal Ash's Badges. Wobbuffet went on to take the loot into the nearby forest while it waited for Jessie and James's return. Wynaut reappeared and went for the box containing the Badges, thinking it was food, but it was ambushed by Wobbuffet. Jessie, James and MTR soon found Wobbuffet, causing it to lose track of Wynaut.

Despite Wobbuffet's best efforts, its teammates went on the hunt for the Badges and soon chased after a wild Wooper. Clair and Ash's group were also on the hunt for the Badges, and soon enough, Ash's Bayleef and Noctowl located Wynaut and Ash's Badges. Soon, Wooper, followed by Team Rocket, entered the scene and a battle ensued over the Badges. Wynaut jumped out, countered Jessie's Poison Sting, and went back to hiding in the scrubs. Ash arrived on the scene to find Team Rocket with his Badges in hand. They were sent blasting off and Ash's Badges were scattered into the air. Ash managed to recover seven of them, while Wynaut handed Bayleef and Noctowl the eighth Badge. Bayleef and Noctowl identify Wynaut as the one who recovered the eighth Badge, but Wynaut sailed away on a log barge before Ash could see it.

Personality and characteristics
Wynaut was a mischievous Pokemon, with a tendency to appear out of nowhere whenever a Pokémon was nearby and then disappear whenever people were around. It was an opportunistic thief driven by its appetite for food. Its small stature and extendable arms allow it to make a clean getaway. It targets people and Pokemon whenever they are distracted.

Loudred first appeared in A Hole Lotta Trouble, where it ran by and stepped on Jessie as she was climbing up to the next floor of Granite Cave. In the next episode, Jessie accidentally stepped on Loudred as it was sleeping. Loudred then sent her, James, and MTR flying with an extremely loud Screech attack.

In Turning Over a Nuzleaf, Ash's Corphish pinched Loudred's ear, which made the wild Pokémon go berserk. In its rage, Loudred caused May to roll out of May's arms and down into a cave system. The group's other Pokémon followed after Silcoon, but ended up becoming separated from their Trainers. Later, Jessie emerged from its Poké Ball and stood on Loudred as it slept. It subsequently woke up and promptly sent TRT flying.

Professor Birch became startled by an angry Wingull while looking at its nest and fell directly on Loudred in A Three Team Scheme!. Loudred angrily screeched at him before leaving underground.

It reappeared in a flashback in Exploud and Clear!.

Ash and ashfr first encountered Spoink without its pearl while having breakfast in Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend. After scanning his Pokédex, Ash learned that Spoink become tired without their pearls, so he and his friends agreed to help find its pearl. The group soon recovered the pearl, but Spoink lost it again after a confrontation with TRT.

Team Rocket was blasted off with the pearl, and they later traded it to the Magikarp salesman for a rare Feebas. After learning this, Ash and his friends confronted the salesman, and Team Rocket also demanded that the pearl be returned to them after they realized their Feebas was actually a List of Pokémon temporarily owned by the Team Rocket trio. In the midst of the squabble, Spoink was reunited with its pearl and sent Team Rocket blasting off with several powerful Psychic attacks.

In Clamperl of Wisdom, Ash and his friends were sailing to Maisie Island when they spotted Spoink out at sea. A rogue wave knocked Spoink into the ocean, but the group was able use a life preserver ring to save it. While it was bouncing around on deck, Spoink tripped and lost its pearl out at sea. Despite the efforts of Torkoal and the group's Water Pokémon, they were unable to recover the pearl.

The group later met Isaiah, a researcher who specializes in Clamperl. Team Rocket attempted to steal Isaiah's rare blue pearl, but Spoink ended up with the item. Spoink went on to befriend a wild Clamperl and exchanged the blue pearl for Clamperl's pink pearl. Ash, his friends, and Spoink went on to defeat Team Rocket after they stole Clamperl and the blue pearl. Spoink then started to meditate and was able to recover Isaiah's blue pearl in exchange for its pink pearl. However, the kind act left Spoink without a pearl. Realizing the situation, Clamperl gave Spoink the pink pearl as thanks.

Personality and characteristics
Spoink is deeply attached to its pearl, and quickly becomes frantic and weak without it. Out of desperation, Spoink has a habit of using Psychic to place any round objects on its head in an attempt to replace the pearl. After a while, even not-so-round objects are placed on its head, including an angry Electrode, much to the dismay of those around it.

In The Scuffle of Legends, Pikachu, who had become possessed by the Blue Orb, awakened Groudon. It subsequently broke out of the chamber and destroyed Team Aqua's ship. Groudon then nullified Kyogre's Drizzle with its Drought, caused Monsu Island's volcano to erupt, and stopped Kyogre's tsunami waves with its powerful Solar Beam. It was able to get the upper hand and defeat Kyogre in battle due to Brock and May's interference. Kyogre first appeared in Gaining Groudon, where it was sleeping in a containment room aboard Team Magma's ship. Maxie explained that Team Magma had captured Kyogre in order to ruin Team Aqua's plans of expanding the ocean. However, Team Aqua had Groudon in their possession, so the two organizations agreed to trade the two super-ancient Legendary Pokémon on Monsu Island. Simultaneously, a counter-operation saw Team Aqua's Shelly infiltrate Team Magma's ship in disguise as a Team Magma Grunt, allowing her to free Kyogre. After being freed, Kyogre escaped Team Magma's ship and leaped into the ocean. Archie used the Red Orb to control Kyogre and ordered it to destroy Team Magma's ship with Hyper Beam. It was later seen sleeping in a containment chamber onboard Team Aqua's submarine. Kyogre once again escaped after TRT failed to catch it with their electrified net.

In The Scuffle of Legends, Kyogre was swimming off the coast of Monsu Island, where its presence caused a Drizzle and strong winds. Using the Red Orb, Archie took control of Kyogre again and had it attack Lance's Dragonite before fighting Lance's Gyarados. After Groudon appeared, which nullified the weather, Kyogre fought Groudon. May's Beautifly and Brock's Mudkip distracted Archie and Kyogre was then defeated by Groudon's Solar Beam. The two orbs separated from Archie and Pikachu, so Kyogre was no longer filled with rage. Despite Archie being saved by Dragonite, Ash and Pikachu fell into the ocean, but both were rescued by Kyogre. Meanwhile, both the Blue and Red Orbs went into the sky and disappeared. Afterwards, Kyogre returned to the depths of the ocean.

Personality and characteristics
Kyogre's personality is unknown as it was only seen under the control of Archie. However, it was shown to be immensely powerful, causing large storms and tsunami waves that almost destroyed Monsu Island. It returned to being a peaceful giant and saved Ash and Pikachu from drowning.

Deoxys first appeared in Pokémon Ranger - Deoxys' Crisis! (Part 1), where it emerged from a portal in the sky. As Max saw Deoxys, he experienced a vision of space as soon as it went back into a portal.

Later, Solana investigated a cave as it was the source of recent geomagnetic disturbances, but  Ash and ashfr ended up tagging along. At the end of the cave, Deoxys emerged from a portal above a meteorite that, according to Nurse Joy, fell ten years ago. Deoxys attacked Ash, his friends, and Solana several times. Solana tried capturing Deoxys with her Capture Styler, but her efforts failed as it had to be in Normal Forme. Max was able to sense Deoxys’s feelings of pain, which Solana was able to confirm with her scanner and used a Miltank to heal Deoxys. Max climbed up the meteorite with Meowth and Deoxys up there. Deoxys created a Safeguard around itself, Max, and Meowth. Max soon learned that Deoxys felt cold and scared as it traversed through space. Deoxys then took the two to its world.

In Pokémon Ranger - Deoxys' Crisis! (Part 2), Deoxys continued telling Max its story. After Ash and the others returned to the cave, Deoxys came out of its world. Everyone evacuated the cave as the meteorite was overloading with energy while Deoxys went back in its dimension. Solana theorized that Deoxys emerged from the meteorite, its cradle, after solar winds hit the space rock. The resulting electromagnetic forces caused Deoxys pain, so it fled to its own world. Deoxys emerged from the portal with Max and Meowth still inside. The group battled Deoxys in an attempt for Solana to capture it, and this also allowed Meowth and Max to escape the alternate dimension. Sceptile battled Deoxys in order to get it to change into Normal Forme, and managed to do so. Immediately afterwards, Solana successfully used her Capture Styler to capture Deoxys. Solana had it use Recover to heal itself and then protect the group from the meteorite's strong blast of energy. With the disturbance gone, Deoxys left to continue exploring the world.

Personality and characteristics
Deoxys is very protective of itself and uses its forme changes to its advantage. It uses telepathy, sight sharing and electromagnetic waves to communicate its emotions with others. When Ash's group and TRT first met Deoxys, Max and MTR soon came to understand that it was suffering from pain and loneliness.

Hippopotas made his first appearance in Mass Hip-Po-Sis!, where Ash, with the aid of ashfr, rescued the Pokémon from being trapped upon a high ledge. Rhonda and her Sinnoh Now crew revealed that they were on assignment filming a herd of Hippo Pokémon. It was then discovered that Hippopotas was lost, having been separated from his herd. As a result, Ash and his friends helped Hippopotas find his way back. Like a few other Pokémon, Hippopotas seemed to like riding atop of Ash's head.

TRT attempted to steal Hippopotas multiple times for Giovanni, but their plans were foiled each time. All the while, Jessie had trouble saying the Pokémon's species name. Hippopotas fell into a stream after one of Team Rocket's attempts to capture him. With the assistance of Nurse Joy, Ash and his friends fetched a sackful of dry sand to help Hippopotas recover. Later, the group were able to reunite Hippopotas with his herd.

Hippopotas's second and final appearance was in Sleight of Sand! with his father, Hippowdon. In this episode, Butch and Cassidy also wanted to kidnap the Hippo Pokémon, but they failed.

Personality and characteristics
Hippopotas is a happy-go-lucky Pokémon that enjoys being close to his herd of family and friends. He wags his tail when excited. Hippopotas was initially anxious and even bit down on Ash's hand when they first met in Mass Hip-Po-Sis. After he was rescued from a precarious situation and offered some food, Hippopotas became incredibly friendly towards Ash and ashfr. He has a healthy appetite and can swallow a large apple whole. Reshiram reappeared in a flashback in Ash and N: A Clash of Ideals!.

Reshiram was revived from the Light Stone in What Lies Beyond Truth and Ideals!. Following the revival, Colress zapped it with his machine and Ghetsis took control of it. Because of Pikachu and Reshiram rebelling against the machine, Colress and Ghetsis lost control of Reshiram. Before Reshiram flies off, N stopped it and said that he always wanted to meet it. The people of Melemele Island allow the group of Pikipek to take their fruit so that people and Pokémon can live in harmony. Trumbeak is part of a family of Pikipek led by a Toucannon that lives in a forest on Melemele Island. Its exact position in the group is unknown, although it is the second-in-command after Toucannon. By mistake, a Ash was born into the nest of Pikipek. The Rowlet would grow up alongside the Pikipek but would never be fully accepted by them, Trumbeak, and Toucannon.

Trumbeak first appeared in First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, leading the Pikipek in taking fruit from the citizens of Hau'oli City. The people of Melemele Island allow the group of Pikipek to take their fruit so that people and Pokémon can live in harmony. After taking the fruit back to their nest, it was discovered that Rowlet had accidentally brought a wind chime instead of fruit. Trumbeak scolded Rowlet for this and banished it from the group.

The next day, Trumbeak led the Pikipek out once to more to get more food and invaded Bewear's den and took all the berries. Returning to the nest, Trumbeak congratulated Rowlet who had returned with a melon before the group was attacked by TRT who were trying to get Bewear's berries back. With help from Ash, Rowlet managed to save them. They thanked it, with Trumbeak hugging Rowlet and then watched as Rowlet left the group to join Ash.

Trumbeak reappeared in A Seasoned Search!, where it was briefly reunited with Rowlet when Ash and Mallow visited its nest to see if its flock knew where to find Yellow Nectar. However, they didn't know where to find it.

Trumbeak reappeared in Securing the Future! alongside Toucannon, where they helped Light trio (anime) regain its List of Pokémon with form differences by giving it some of their Z-Power.

Trumbeak reappeared in No Stone Unturned!, when Rowlet visited the group family after losing to Hau and his Dartrix. Trumbeak used Bullet Seed alongside Toucannon, which helped teach Rowlet how to use Seed Bomb.

Personality and characteristics
Trumbeak has been shown to be rather stern, but caring all the same. It scolded Rowlet when it failed to bring food back to the nest and became annoyed at Rowlet when it fell asleep as it was telling Rowlet off. Despite being annoyed towards Rowlet, Trumbeak praises it when it returned with a melon and is thankful, as seen when Rowlet helped save them from Team Rocket. It even gave Rowlet a hug as it left to join Ash's team. This was seen again in No Stone Unturned!, where it welcomed Rowlet back into its flock and helped teach it how to use Seed Bomb.

Toucannon is the leader of a group of Pikipek and one Trumbeak that lives in a forest on Melemele Island. Toucannon is responsible for hatching the Pikipek from Pokémon Eggs, while it leaves the hunt for food to Trumbeak and the Pikipek. By mistake, a Ash was born into the nest of Pikipek. The Rowlet would grow up alongside the Pikipek but would never be fully accepted by them, Trumbeak, and Toucannon.

Toucannon first appeared in First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, waiting at its nest for the Pikipek, Trumbeak, and Rowlet to return with fruit. When it turned out Rowlet had accidentally brought a wind chime instead of fruit, Trumbeak gave it a scolding and banished it from the group. The next day as the Pikipek and Trumbeak were out looking for food, Toucannon was thinking back to the time where Rowlet's egg hatched among the Pikipek when Rowlet returned with a melon just as the group was attacked by TRT who were trying to get Bewear's berries back. With help from Ash, Rowlet managed to save them. Ash planned to catch Rowlet, but upon seeing it happy with its family, he decided not to. Nevertheless, Toucannon successfully encouraged Rowlet to join Ash.

Toucannon reappeared in A Seasoned Search!, where it was briefly reunited with Rowlet when Ash and Mallow visited its nest to see if its flock knew where to find Yellow Nectar. However, they didn't know where to find it.

Personality and characteristics
Toucannon is shown to have a caring personality as shown when it was looking after the young Pikipek and Rowlet. Toucannon was shown to be worried for Rowlet after it was banished from the group, as seen when it was pacing about the nest, remembering the time Rowlet accidentally hatched from an Egg. Toucannon is also shown to get annoyed if someone touches its beak, as seen when Rotom did so to see if it felt hot, making Toucannon intentionally heat up its beak to burn Rotom.

Toucannon is shown as being helpful towards Rowlet even after it left the family. This was seen in No Stone Unturned!, where, after Rowlet's loss to Hau and Dartrix, Toucannon helped it learn Seed Bomb, which would later be essential to Rowlet's victory in a rematch against Dartrix.

Sometime prior to A Dream Encounter!, Wicke of the Aether Foundation found Stufful trapped under a fallen tree. After freeing Stufful, Wicke took it to Aether Paradise to recover. Over time, the two became close.

Stufful first appeared in A Dream Encounter!, in a video on Professor Kukui's television. It was one of the Pokémon included in a presentation on Professor Burnet as the fifteenth recipient of the "Alola Woman on the Year" award and her workplace, Aether Paradise. It appeared again when Ash and ashcl visited Aether Paradise in Deceiving Appearances!.

During a plot by TRT to steal the Pokémon at Aether Paradise in Don't Ignore the Small Stufful!, Stufful met and became attached to Jessie, although it refused to be caught. When Bewear came to pick up Team Rocket, Bewear recognized Stufful as its child and took them all back to its den. While doing so, it allowed Stufful to spin a helicopter blade that would allow them to fly.

In SM122, Matori arrived in Alola to bring Bewear back to Kanto. However, she decided to take Stufful instead. Team Rocket, having realized this, disguised Meowth as Stufful, and Matori took the bait. Bewear eventually rescued Meowth.

Personality and characteristics
Stufful was a carefree Pokémon, constantly walking throughout the conservation area of Aether Paradise. It is also a very affectionate Pokémon, as shown in Don't Ignore the Small Stufful!, where it grew attached to Jessie by grabbing on to the back of her hair.

Since its reunion with Bewear, Stufful has assisted her in her rescues of Team Rocket, like in Don't Ignore the Small Stufful!, where it spun a helicopter propeller; and in Heart of Fire! Heart of Stone!, where it alerted the trio to Bewear's arrival. Like its mother, Stufful has been shown to be able to perform incredible feats of strength. In addition to the helicopter incident, it has been shown running through several walls of steel in the Poké Problem segment of SM124, destroying the mecha Team Rocket had planned on fixing in the process. Stufful's tendency to show up has caused the trio to panic, as seen in SM128, when Team Rocket spotted a Stufful and mistook it for Bewear's child, causing them to fear they were on their way.

Much like its mother, Stufful enjoys hot springs. This was seen in SM128, when Team Rocket built it and Bewear one so that they can enter the Manalo Conference without them showing up whilst competing.

In the past, it saved a young Lana and Mallow when they fell off a cliff. It reunited with them in the present day, when it also helped Harper and Sarah.

The Melemele Greens are a group of Passimian who live in a forested area close to Iki Town. One nicknamed Tiny is the current leader of the Melemele Greens.

The Melemele Greens debuted in the banned episode SM064. The Red Buns clan from Akala Island, led by one nicknamed Claw, had arrived on Melemele Island and asserted leadership of the Melemele Greens after taking possession of their special fruit. The Melemele Greens felt helpless under Claw's ruthless reign and simply complied. Ash decided to dress up like a Passimian, which bolstered the confidence of Tiny and the other Melemele Greens. Tiny went on to challenge Claw for leadership of the Melemele Greens, and competed alongside Ash in a Berry-tossing game on the beach. The Red Buns dominated much of the match due to their larger size, though the game encouraged the other Melemele Greens to revolt and outnumber Claw and its allies to reclaim their territory and freedom. Tiny and the other Melemele Greens eventually regained control, and later took Ash back to their nest to celebrate the victory.

They reappeared in SM121<!--(which also serves as their English dub debut)-->, where they were among the Pokémon who visited Oranguru's Café and had their meal served by Mallow and Oranguru.

Personality and characteristics
The Melemele Greens are a sociable group of Passimian that enjoy keeping to themselves. Unlike the brutish Red Buns, the Melemele Greens do not engage in territorial squabbles. Tiny and the others developed their confidence and learned to defend themselves after Ash's interventions in SM064.

Mantine first appeared in Where Are You Going, Eevee? of the Where Are You Going, Eevee? shorts. It rescued Eevee after it was accidentally knocked off a boat by a passing by Wailord. In Where Are You Going, Eevee? of the segment, they decided to try Mantine Surfing on a nearby wave. Eevee initially kept getting knocked off whenever Mantine did a flip, Eevee eventually learned how to time its jumps with Mantine's flips, allowing it to stay on Mantine's back. Mantine reappeared in Where Are You Going, Eevee? of the segment, where, after arriving at Alola, it said its farewells to Eevee and headed back out to sea. It reappeared in a flashback in We Know Where You're Going, Eevee!.

It made its main series debut in Alola, Alola!, where it met up with Sandy again and helped it Mantine Surf with Lana. Later, it and several other Mantine were captured by TRT before being rescued by Ash and ashcl. Afterwards, it and the other Mantine returned to the sea.

Personality and characteristics
Mantine is shown to be a kind Pokémon, as seen by its rescue of Eevee and its befriending of Lana, despite them being total strangers.

A group of Meltan first appeared in Evolving Research!, where they were briefly seen underwater, walking away from a Mystery Box near Poni Island.

Even more Meltan appeared in A Grand Debut!, where they were briefly seen on the boat Ash, ashcl, and Professor Kukui were taking from Poni Island to Melemele Island.

All of the Meltan reappeared in Show Me the Metal!, where they caused havoc on Melemele Island. While investigating the sewers, the Meltan were divided into two groups. One group ended up at the Ultra Guardians base and ate some machinery before being stopped by Lusamine's Clefable. Afterwards, they ended up at the Pokémon School, where they were discovered by Ash, his classmates, and Professor Kukui. Unable to recognize what the Meltan were, the group determined they were a new species and decided to study what they work on and how they worked. During the experiments, Kiawe's Marowak accidentally scared the Meltan off with the flames on its bone, forcing Ash and the others to search for them. Meanwhile, the other group of Meltan ended up at Bewear's den, where they ate most of James's bottle cap collection, infuriating him. TRT chased the runaway Hex Nut Pokémon into some nearby woods and attempted to capture them. The Meltan retaliated with a combined Flash Cannon, only for Bewear to block the attack and scare the Meltan away.

While Ash and the others searched, a single Meltan stayed behind, where it met Ash's Rowlet. After Rowlet helped rescue its hex nut from a wild Murkrow, the Meltan took a liking to Rowlet. Afterwards, the Meltan group at the Pokémon School called the other group to their position, reuniting them all except for the Meltan bonded with Rowlet. It instead chose to follow Rowlet back home by hitching a ride in Ash's backpack.

In Got Meltan?, Ash caught the Meltan that befriended Rowlet. The other Meltan were tamed by Clefable, who started using scrap metal to feed them as a reward for following instructions.

In Beauty is Only Crystal Deep!, they helped deliver a box containing Beast Balls and a medical kit to the Ultra Guardians for their next mission. Clefable then fed them screws as a reward.

In SM124, the Meltan appeared helping the Ultra Guardians again. They were also revealed to have started multiplying, doubling the total number. In SM126, the Meltan were shown to have multiplied even further, bringing the total number to 60.

Personality and characteristics
All of the Meltan enjoy eating metal, as seen in Show Me the Metal!, where they launched themselves at anything made of metal and began to eat it. One of the Meltan, which would later become Ash's, has a timid and easily frightened personality, thus it doesn't always follow the rest.

Despite being a wild Pokémon, Shaymin was used by Mallow in the Battle Royal round of the Manalo Conference in SM129. It defeated a Staryu, Herdier, and Corsola with Sandy's help. Shaymin was later among the 16 Pokémon still standing at the end, allowing Mallow to progress to the next round.
