A Rancher (Japanese: ぼくじょうおじさん Farm Man) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are depicted as middle-aged men, wearing cowboy hats and overalls, and carry pitchforks. Most are found near Solaceon Town.
Ranchers are the male counterparts of Cowgirls. When paired with Cowgirls in Double Battles, they are called Belle & Pas.
They use a variety of Pokémon.
