(Japanese: ラムパルド Rampard) is a Rock-type Pokémon. It is available in Generation IV games.

Biology

Physiology

Rampard is a large, dark-gray dinosaur-like Pokémon. Rampard has a blue stripe on its tail and one blue stripe on each of its knees and wrists. Rampard also has a spike on each knee. Rampard has a blue collar on its neck with two spikes on it. Two of Rampard's head spikes are bigger than the other two. Rampard's red eyes are obstructed by its dome-shaped head. Two short spikes are on this Pokémon's nose.

Rampard once lived in jungles, but has been extinct from the wild for 100 million years and only exists via being cloned from fossil samples.

Hyōta's Zugaidos evolves into a Rampard in DP016. It battles against Ash in his rematch.

Rampard's is a pun, combining the words "ram" (to slam into), "hard", and "rampart" (a type of fortress).
