RKS System has been reworked into a {{mas|skill}}-independent game mechanic that only {{mas|Gladion}} and {{TP|Gladion|Silvally}} use. This also changes Gladion and Silvally's weakness type. After the battle, they return to their {{t|Normal}} typing.

RKS System (Japanese: ARシステム AR System) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Silvally.

Effect

In battle

RKS System changes the type of the Pokémon with this Ability depending on the memory attached.

Gastro Acid, Worry Seed, and Simple Beam fail if the target has the Ability RKS System. Role Play, Skill Swap, Entrainment, and Doodle fail if either Pokémon has RKS System. RKS System cannot be copied by Trace, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver. RKS System cannot be replaced by Mummy or Lingering Aroma, suppressed by Core Enforcer or Neutralizing Gas, or traded by Wandering Spirit. If a Pokémon other than Silvally obtains RKS System with Imposter or Transform, the Pokémon will copy the form of the target Silvally regardless of its own held item.

Outside of battle

RKS System has no effect outside of battle.
