Queenly Majesty (Japanese: じょおうのいげん Queen's Majesty) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Tsareena.

Effect

In battle

385Jirachi.png This Ability effect may be in need of research.
Reason: What happens with moves called by Mirror Move, Metronome, Encore? (using priority moves at 0 priority, and interaction with non-priority moves used at +1 priority due to these moves being boosted by Prankster)
You can discuss this on the talk page.

If an opponent uses a priority move (including moves boosted by Prankster, Gale Wings, or Triage) that targets the Pokémon with Queenly Majesty or its allies, Queenly Majesty prevents the Pokémon from executing that move (PP is still consumed). When this occurs, the text "<Pokémon> cannot use <move>!" is displayed.

Moves that target all Pokémon (except Perish Song, Flower Shield, and Rototiller) and moves that target the opponent's side of the field cannot be blocked by Queenly Majesty, even if they become priority moves. Queenly Majesty has no effect on allies' priority moves.

Priority status Z-Moves will have their Z-Power effect activate. For example, if a Pokémon uses Z-Baby-Doll Eyes on a Pokémon under the effect of Queenly Majesty, the user will still gain Defense, but it will not lower the target's Attack.

Mold Breaker, Turboblaze, and Teravolt will ignore this Ability.

Priority moves called using Instruct retain their original priority, and are blocked by Queenly Majesty. Non-priority moves called using Instruct with boosted priority (for example if the Instruct-user has Prankster) similarly retain their original priority and are not blocked.

Outside of battle

Queenly Majesty has no effect outside of battle.

In other games

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Queenly Majesty is Tsareena's Ability. When a hindrance is inflicted on the user; decrease the duration of the effect. Using a boosted attack or move grants 1 stack of Queenly Majesty to the user. After gaining 3 stacks, the Queenly Majesty buff is applied to the user for a short time, which allows one of user's moves to be reused (these uses do not share the same cooldown as the base moves), dealing increased damage and applying an additional effect based on the move used.
