Long, tapered violet markings above its green, feline eyes extend towards its ears. Trivia

  • Choroneko was seen first in Pokémon Sunday special episode preview in September 6. It was later removed from the same preview, much like the revelation of Zekrom's secondary type earlier.

Origin

Choroneko is based on a stray cat and loosely based on black cats.

Name origin

Choroneko's name comes from 猫 neko, cat, and possibly ちょろまかす choromakasu, to pilfer.
