The battlefield of Pugilis is yet another battlefield in which you must claim all the banners to win. However, due to having to hold the banner for more than one turn, you may also win by defeating all of the opponents. The banners are at the corners of the square fighting ring, and if your [[Pokémon]] are hit on the edges of the ring, they will fall off of it. There is also a fight bell, which raises the attack of all Pokémon on the team that attacks the fight bell.
The arena-like battlefield of Pugilis features a central square, Fight Bells, and banners. When Pokémon positioned at the edges of the battlefield's central square are attacked, they will fall out, from where they cannot easily re-enter the square. Fight Bells can be rung by Pokémon, which will increase the {{stat|Attack}} stat of all Pokémon belonging to the army of the color of the bell, for three turns. The four banners located on the battlefield restore the {{stat|HP}} of visiting Pokémon, and determine the outcome of battle if an army manages to claim all of them and hold them for five turns.
