This card was included in the Neo Genesis expansion, first released in the Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World... expansion. It was reprinted as a Reverse Holofoil, which did not include a gold "Winner" stamp on the bottom right corner of the artwork, as part of the Best of Game promotional set, awarded at GenCon 2003.
Trivia
- The restriction against playing any more Trainer cards after this card is played is similar to the rules of the later-released Supporter cards, of which only one could be played per turn. The cards depicting Elm's successors, Professor Birch, Professor Rowan, Professor Juniper, and Professor Sycamore are all Supporters.
