The Pokémon hunter

The Pokémon hunter (Japanese: ポケモンハンター Pokémon Hunter) is a character of the day who appeared in A Fork in the Road! A Parting of the Ways!. He captures other people's Pokémon as well as wild ones for a living.

The Pokémon hunter was mentioned several times by Dr. White when he was pleading with Beatrice to not try and battle him. He was also mentioned to Ash and his friends as the owner of the trap that injured Dedenne. Later, he attacked James and TRMeowth ([[{{{2}}} (move)|{{{2}}}]]), kidnapping Meowth as well as Pumpkaboo and Inkay. Ash, Serena, and Bonnie agreed to help James rescue them, but were having trouble holding off the Pokémon hunter's Rhyperior. However, Jessie and Wobbuffet arrived just in time to rescue everyone, and the Pokémon hunter was defeated and arrested.
