The Pokémon Village (Japanese: ポケモンの村 Pokémon Village) is a place in southern Kalos where Pokémon live in hiding from people due to numerous reasons. Wulfric, who has befriended the Pokémon living there, occasionally leaves his Gym to visit the village. There is a cave up north called "Unknown Dungeon", where Mewtwo resides, holding a Mewtwonite X or Mewtwonite Y, depending on the version being played. Much like the Cerulean Cave in Kanto, a man will block the entrance to the cave until the Pokémon Champion has been defeated. On Thursdays, wild Banette have a chance of being found in three of the five trash cans.
