The Pokémon Top 10 Handbook is a book by Tracey West. It contains a list of the "top ten" things in the Pokémon world based on the anime, which are grouped into 22 categories. Despite being published in 2007, it does not include any content from the Sinnoh region (except images and mentions of Munchlax) since the United States was still in Pokémon's third generation. At the end of the book, it gives readers a chance to make their own top 10 list.

The book features the franchise mascot, Pikachu, on the front cover and legendary duo Kyogre and Groudon on the back.

Trivia

• Legendary Pokémon are not listed among the ten lists of typed Pokémon. Instead, they have their own list.
• Dual-typed Pokémon are only listed once, even if they are eligible in two categories.
• The book includes a poster of all the Pokémon listed in the Top 10 categories.

Errors

• The blurb for Charmander refers to Ash's Charmander as "troublesome", saying it "tested Ash again and again." Actually, Charmander was one of Ash's more loyal Pokémon until it evolved into Charmeleon. Then it began to disobey Ash.
• The blurb for Liza (the Charizard Trainer) distinguishes her from the Gym Leader of the same name. Nevertheless, the same picture of Gym Leader Liza is used for both Lizas.
• The pictures of Maxie and Archie are actually pictures of a Team Magma Grunt and a Team Aqua Grunt, respectively.
• The blurb for the Water Stone states that "...Brock's Lotad fell in love with a Mawile, [and] it used a Water Stone to evolve into Ludicolo." In reality, it was Brock's Lombre.
