Pokémon Square (Japanese: ポケモンひろば Pokémon Plaza) is the central village in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. It is populated solely by Pokémon, like the rest of the world presented in the game and anime special. It is later replaced by Treasure Town.

Pokémon Square Shops

Makuhita Dojo (マクノシタくんれんじょ)

Run by Makuhita, this shop generates mini-dungeons of Pokémon of the same type so the player can level up.

Whiscash Pond (ナマズンのいけ)

Pelipper Post Office

The player can send SOS mail, lend a Pokémon to a friend, send A-OK Mail and Thank-You-Mail that allows two players to link together their games by exchanging codes. In addition, the bulletin board in front of the post office contains want ads for rescue missions.
