The setting of the competition

The Pokémon Sled Jump Games (Japanese: ポケゾリジャンプ大会 PokéSled Jump Tournament) is an anime-exclusive bobsled competition that is held annually on Ula'ula Island on Mount Lanakila. It was featured in Getting a Jump on the Competition!. After the competition, Cerah did an exhibition jump with her Alolan Ninetales.

Competition

The Pokémon Sled Jump Games is a competition where Trainers and their Pokémon travel down a ski jump on a Pokémon-themed sled called a PokéSled. Once they are in the air, the participant's Pokémon must perform at least one move to put on a display that impresses the judges. A successful landing and the achieved distance, which can be bolstered by a Pokémon's move, are also taken into consideration by the judging panel. The winner will receive a PokéSled made by the Pokémon Sled Jump Master.
