Reason: Each figure's game attributes when scanned, details on European release, dates/details of Japanese releases,

additional promotional Japanese figures, Japanese promotional details, separate images of each figure

The Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures are a collection of figures released in conjunction with the release of Pokémon Rumble U. The figures contain chips that store each Pokémon's information (such as their stats) within the figure. Utilizing the Wii U Gamepad's near field communication (NFC), each figure can be scanned in order to play with the Pokémon within the game. The scanned Pokémon are stronger than their in-game counterparts.

In the U.S. and Europe, there are currently 23 figures available: 18 standard figures, 3 Shiny figures (Pikachu, Eevee, and Genesect), and 2 promotional figures. Each of these figures originate from Japan, who additionally had several currently exclusive promotional figures released through various means. In the U.S., they were available at GameStop stores for $3.99. They are available in Europe in Game Retail Limited stores for £3.99 each. They are hidden within Poké Balls meaning that it is unknown which figure is contained until purchased. In Japan, they are sold at Pokémon Centers for ¥200 each, and were released in three waves of 7: 6 standard figures and 1 Shiny Secret figure. The concept of NFC figures was later revisited with amiibo.
