Pocket Monsters is a shonen Pokémon manga based on the Pokémon games. It is also the original one and first true Pokémon manga. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick.
It is translated by Chuang Yi in Singapore, but it's not popular amongst western fans as the art style is so different, many of the Pokémon and characters are unrecognizable.
It appeared, in film form, as a sort of easter egg in AG086.
