Pokémon Orienteering
Pokémon Orienteering (Japanese: ポケモンオリエンテーリング Pokémon Orienteering) is an anime-exclusive orienteering competition. It was featured in Off the Unbeaten Path. Another, nearly identical competition appeared in Foggy Pokémon Orienteering! as part of Professor Sycamore's Pokémon Summer Camp.
Competition
In the Pokémon Orienteering, a Trainer and a Pokémon must navigate their way around Potpourri Island and attempt to find several landmarks. At each landmark, their map must be stamped with a Pokémon symbol. The first team to get all the symbols and complete the stamp on their map and get back to the Pokémon Center is the winner.
The prize is an enormous supply of fruit and the Pokémon Teamwork Medal.
In the end, Nurse Joy announced James and Mime Jr. as the big winners. James happily accepted the medal, but gave away the fruit to the rest of the contestants (excluding Jessie and Meowth).
