The Pokémon Nursery (Japanese: ポケモン預かり屋 Pokémon Caretakers) is a place introduced in Generation VII's debut games Pokémon Sun and Moon. It allows Pokémon Trainers to drop off their Pokémon under the care of the Nursery helpers. It is located on Paniola Ranch on Akala Island.
The Pokémon Nursery is run by a pair of Pokémon Breeders, two sisters who were inspired by the Pokémon Day Cares in other regions. Unlike Day Cares, the Pokémon left at the Nursery will neither gain any experience points nor learn any moves. However, Pokémon left at the Nursery can still breed. Retrieving a Pokémon from the Nursery costs $500.
When the player's Pokémon have made an Egg, the Pokémon Nursery lady outside will cross her arms in order to notify the player that an Egg has been made.
