Trivia

Errors

  • Page 17 contains multiple errors:
    • Flash's accuracy is stated to be 70%. However, in Diamond and Pearl, Flash is 100% accurate.
    • Acid is mislabeled as lowering Defense, when it actually has a chance of lowering Special Defense.
      • The same error occurs on page 18.
    • Crunch is mislabeled as lowering Special Defense, when it actually has a chance of lowering Defense.
    • Flash Cannon, Focus Blast, Luster Purge, Psychic, and Shadow Ball are mislabeled as lowering Accuracy, when they actually have a chance of lowering Special Defense.
  • On page 20, Houndoom is omitted from the list of Pearl version exclusives.
  • On page 21, it is stated that some Gym Badges (Forest, Fen, Mine, and Beacon) affect Pokémon obedience. However, in Diamond and Pearl, obedience is based on the number of Badges obtained, rather than specific ones.
  • On page 28, the Lum Berry is omitted from the list of confusion-curing Berries.
  • On page 32, it erroneously states there are only 12 Egg Groups (counting Water 1, Water 2, and Water 3 as one Egg Group; including Gender Unknown and excluding None). It also lists and refers to the Gender Unknown Egg Group, which is not listed elsewhere in the book for Pokémon with unknown gender.
