The Pokémon Catching Race (Japanese: ゲットレース Get Race) is an anime-exclusive competition that takes place in Fula City as part of the annual Wind Festival. It was featured in The Power of Us.

The Pokémon Catching Race is a competition to test a Trainer's ability to catch Pokémon. At the start of the competition, the participating Trainers are given a special, blue Poké Ball that they must use to catch the Pokémon. The winner is the one who catches the largest number of Pokémon within a limited period of time.
