The Pokémon Catch Race (Japanese: ゲットレース Get Race) is an anime-exclusive competition held in Fula City that tests a Trainer's ability to catch Pokémon. It is one of the attractions of the annual Wind Festival. It was featured in The Power of Us.
Competition
At the start of the Pokémon Catch Race, the participating Trainers are given a set of special, blue Poké Balls called "Catch Race Poké Balls" that they must use to catch the Pokémon that are made available for the competition. These Pokémon will be roaming around Fula City and can be easily identified by a special sticker.
