Pokémon Card Game Trainer (Japanese: ポケモンカードゲームトレーナー Pokémon Card Game Trainer) is a Supporter card. It is one of the Unnumbered Promotional cards.

Card text

All prints
AceSpec.png You can't have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.
You can't have more than 1 Prism Star card with the same name in your deck. If a Prism Star card is discarded, put it in the Lost Zone.
You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card.
If you have this card, you are a certified Pokémon Card Game Trainer. As a certified person, you can play a match anytime, anywhere, with anyone around the world.
Do Nothing  
At the beginning of your turn, flip a coin. If heads, you can do nothing during your turn. If tails, your opponent can do nothing during his or her next turn.

Release information

This card was available to those who visited the Commemorative Photo Service Corner present at each of the Spring 2012 Battle Carnival venues in Japan. A person or group could have their photograph taken in front of a board with the Spring 2012 Battle Carnival logo and then have the image printed on this card. Each print cost ¥500. The Battle Carnival took place at the Sendai Sun Plaza, Sendai on May 3, 2012; at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama between May 12-13, 2012; at Port Messe Nagoya, Nagoya on May 20, 2012; and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on June 3, 2012.


  • This card was only released as a jumbo card and is therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
  • This card does not have an illustrator or photo credit due to the nature in which it was distributed.
  • This card can potentially be one of few cards to feature photographs of real-life people, and similarly to the Lawson customizable promotional cards available in Japan, difficult to value as each print can be unique.
