A large amount of Pokémon-themed systems have been released. They have been created since the Nintendo 64, and Pikachu is featured on most of them. Some were distributed to promote events like the release of M01.
Nintendo 3DS XL
- Premium Gold Edition - A gold 3DS XL sold in Japan to promote Pokémon X and Y.
- Xerneas & Yveltal Blue Edition - A blue 3DS XL sold in Japan to promote Pokémon X and Y.
- Eevee Edition - An Eevee-colored 3DS XL sold in Japan only. The back of the system depicts Eevee.
- Charizard Edition - A black 3DS XL sold in Japan only. The front of the system depicts Charizard's flame, while the back depicts its body.
- Pikachu Edition - A yellow 3DS XL sold in the United States, Europe, and Japan. Pikachu's head is depicted on the front, and its tail on the back.

Nintendo eShop Cards
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Edition - It was released in Japan for a short while in 2012 in conjunction with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It was released in the hope that people would purchase the downloadable content from the game.
- Pokémon Edition - This eShop card was also released for a short while in 2012 in conjunction with Pokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro. It was released to people who lack the access to a credit card, to purchase the games that worked together with Black 2 and White 2
- Pokémon Black and White 2 Edition - Same as above, but only with a cover based on Black and White 2. [1]
Nintendo DSi
- Pokémon Black Edition - A black DSi that has an image of Reshiram and Zekrom on the front. It was bundled with Black Version.
- Pokémon White Edition - A white DSi that has an image of Reshiram and Zekrom on the front. It was bundled with White Version.

Nintendo DS Lite
- Giratina Edition - A white DS Lite released only in Japan and Europe. It has Giratina on the front. It was bundled with Pokémon Platinum Version. It is only available for Daisuki Club Members only.
- Pikachu Edition - A yellow DS Lite released in Japanese Pokémon Centers only via a lottery. It was also later released in Europe. It depicts Pikachu's head on the front of the console.
- Dialga and Palkia Edition - A black DS Lite released in Japenese and American Pokémon Centers only. It depicts Dialga and Palkia on the front of the system.
- Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Pikachu Edition - Released as a special promotion for Daisuki Club members only. The front of the system depicts Pikachu making various expressions and the Pokémon Daisuki Club logo.
- Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Pikachu! Edition - Same as the other I Love Pikachu edition, except the Pokémon Daisuki Club logo on the front is changed. Only 40 were released.
- Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Turtwig! Edition - Same as the other Daisuki Club editions, except depicting Turtwig.
- Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Chimchar! Edition - Same as the other Daisuki Club editions, except depicting Chimchar.
- Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Piplup! Edition - Same as the other Daisuki Club editions, except depicting Piplup.

- PokéPark Edition - A blue DS available exclusively in Japan's PokéPark. It was later released in Walmart stores in the US. The PokéPark logo is depicted on the front of the console, while a silhouette of Pikachu is depicted inside the console.
- Mew Edition - A Pink DS released only in Japan. Silhouettes of Mew are depicted on the front and inside of the system.

Game Boy Micro
- Pikachu Edition - A black and red GB Micro released only in Japan on November 17, 2005 to celebrate the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. It depicts a metallic silhouette of Pikachu above the A and B buttons.

Game Boy Advance SP
- Pikachu Edition - A yellow GBA SP released exclusively in Japanese Pokémon Centers, then later released exclusively in Toys 'R' Us stores in the US. The front of the system depicts Pikachu's face.
- Rayquaza Edition - A green GBA SP released in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Emerald Version. It depicts a silhouette of Rayquaza on the inside and on the outside.
- Venusaur Edition - A green GBA SP released in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of LeafGreen Version. It depicts a silhouette of Venusaur on the insade and on the outside.
- Charizard Edition - A red GBA SP released in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of FireRed Version. It depicts a silhouette of Charizard on the inside and on the outside.
- Torchic Edition - An orange GBA SP released in the Pokémon Center in New York only. It depicts a faint silhouette of Torchic on the front.
- Groudon Edition - A red GBA SP released in the Pokémon Center in New York to tie in with the release of Ruby Version. It depicts Groudon's face on the outside and a silhouette of Groudon on the inside.
- Kyogre Edtion - A blue GBA SP released in the Pokémon Center in New York to tie in with the release of Sapphire Version. It depicts Kyogre's face on the front and a silhouette of Kyogre on the inside.

- Latios and Latias Edition - A blue and red GBA released only in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Pokémon Heroes. It features silhouettes of Latios and Latias next to the GBA logo.
- Pokémon Center New York Edition - A gold colored GBA released only in the Pokémon Center of New York to commemorate its grand opening. It was later sold at Pokémon Centers in Japan. It depicts silhouettes of Pichu and Pikachu next to the GBA logo.
- Celebi Edition - A green GBA released only in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Celebi: Voice of the Forest. It depicts two silhouettes of Celebi next to the GBA logo.
- Suicune Edition - A light blue GBA released in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Crystal Version. It features Pikachu and Pichu next to the GBA logo.
- White Game Boy Advance - A white GBA that depicts silhouettes of Pichu and Pikachu next to the GBA logo.
- Diamond-Encrusted Game Boy Advance - The winners of the Pokémon 10th Anniversary Journey Across America, Minh Le and Samin Syed, each won a one-of-a-kind diamond-encrusted Game Boy Advance.

- Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness Edition - Released in Japan and the US only. It Dark Lugia is depicted on the lid.
- Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness Decals - These decals were only available by pre-ordering the game. They depict Dark Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

Game Boy Color
- Pikachu and Pichu Edition - A yellow GBC released worldwide. It features Pichu and Pikachu next to the screen. Pikachu's right cheek serves as the power indicator light.
- Pokémon Yellow Version Edition - A yellow GBC released in a bundle with Yellow Version. It features Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and a Togepi. A Poké Ball serves as the power indicator.
- Silver Pokémon GS Edition - A silver colored GBC released in Japan to tie in with the Release of Gold and Silver. It features Pikachu, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita. The Pokémon Center logo is depicted on the bottom. [2]
- Gold Pokémon GS Edition - A gold variant of the Pikachu and Pichu edition GBC bundled with Gold Version.
- Clear Green Pokémon Edition - A clear green GBC sold in Taiwan only. It features Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and a Meowth. A Poké Ball serves as the power indicator.
- Clear Blue Pokémon Edition - A clear blue version of the clear green GBC sold in Hong Kong only.
- Pokémon 3rd Anniversary Edition - An orange and blue GBC created exclusively to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. It was sold in Japan only. It depicts the Generation I starters and Pikachu on the front.
- White Pokémon 3rd Anniversary Edition - A white GBC created exclusively to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Pokémon franchise.
- Silver Pikachu and Pichu Edition - A silver variant of the Pikachu and Pichu edition.

- Pikachu Yellow Edition - Released to tie in with Yellow Version. It has a silhouette of Venusaur and Charizard. It also has a picture of Pikachu and uses a Poké Ball as the "feed" button.

- Special Pokémon Edition - Released only at Pokémon Center Tokyo. It depicts Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Horsea. and Lapras. It has "Pokémon Center Tokyo" written on the bottom, and was released to tie in with the first Pokémon movie.

Nintendo 64
- Blue Pikachu Nintendo 64 - A blue N64 released in Europe, the United States, and Japan. A relief of Pikachu adorns the top of the console. The Pikachu's left foot serves as the reset button, while the power button is a Poké Ball. The extension port was removed, making the Nintendo 64 DD unusable. In Japan, the control was sold separately.
- Orange Pikachu Nitendo 64 - The same as above, except colored orange.
- Pokémaniac Nintendo 64 - This special Pokémon edition of the console was released in Australia only. Also included with the special Pokémon unit was a controller and the PAL version of Pokémon - I Choose You!.
