Pocket Monsters BW (Japanese: ポケットモンスターBW) is a shōnen Pokémon manga created by Kosaku Anakubo. It is a sequel to the Pokémon Pocket Monsters, Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire, Pocket Monsters DP and Pocket Monsters HGSS manga series and is succeeded by Pocket Monsters XY. The plot follows the adventures of Red and his Pokémon as they travel to the Unova region. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick.
