Plus (Japanese: プラス Plus) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Seven Pokémon are known to have this Ability. Prior to Generation V, this ability was exclusive to Plusle.
Effect
In battle
Generations III and IV
When a Pokémon with Plus enters into a double battle with a Pokémon with Minus, the user's Special Attack stat increases by 50%.
Generation V
Plus now also raises the user's Special Attack stat by 50% when it enters a triple battle with a Pokémon that has Plus or Minus.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
A Pokémon with this Ability will receive a 50% bonus to special attack if an allied Pokémon has Minus.
Outside of battle
Plus has no effect outside of battle.
