Release information

All four parts of this Pokémon were released as SWSH Black Star Promos in the Celebrations Special Collection—Pikachu V-UNION from October 8, 2021. A composite Jumbo card was also included in the collection. In Japan, the cards were available individually in the 25th Anniversary Collection subset.

Trivia

The full illustration comprises twenty-five Pikachu created by twenty-five different artists, showcasing the range of approaches featured in the TCG as it celebrated its 25th anniversary. The artists and each Pikachu they illustrated are detailed below. A section of the Japanese Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website promoting the subset ahead of its release featured comments from each of the contributing artists.[1]
