Pierre (Japanese: アキオ Akio) is a one-time character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in Type Casting. He is voiced by Eric Stuart in English and 松本保典 Yasunori Matsumoto.
He and Marie were trying to determine whether Sudowoodo is a Rock-type or a Grass-type. He always has a Pokémon book with him. He thinks that Sudowoodo is a Rock type Pokémon because it is written as Rock type in the book. He eventually proved he is right because when it's attacked by water, it ran away, this will be abnormal for a Grass type Pokémon.
