Pierre (Japanese: アキオ Akio) is a one-time character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in Type Casting.
He and Marie were trying to determine whether Sudowoodo is a Rock type or a Grass type. He always has a Pokémon book with him. He thought that Sudowoodo was a Rock-type Pokémon because it is written as Rock-type in his book. He eventually proved he was right because when it was attacked by water, it ran away, something abnormal for a Grass-type Pokémon.
