Pasio Friendiversary (Japanese: パシオともだち記念祭！ Pasio Friend Anniversary!) was a story event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias, Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus, and Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon.

The "May Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias from the beginning of the event to March 31, 2022. The "Skyla Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus from March 2 to 31, 2022. The "Raihan Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon from March 4 to 31, 2022.

During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers L, Event Vouchers M, and Event Vouchers N from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except the Daily Extreme Battles, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

The player could battle using May (Anniversary 2022) & Latias, Skyla (Anniversary 2022) & Tornadus, or Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Lear & Hoopa, Nate & Braviary, or Lisia & Altaria to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted Psychic-, Flying-, or Dragon-type sync pairs to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.

The event areas were updated as the event continued. On March 2, 2022, Daily Extreme Battle 1 became unavailable, and Soar with Flying-Type Moves! Part 1, Soar with Flying-Type Moves! Part 2, and Daily Extreme Battle 2 were added. On March 4, 2022, Daily Extreme Battle 2 became unavailable, and Rage with Dragon-Type Moves! Part 1, Rage with Dragon-Type Moves! Part 2, Daily Extreme Battle 3, Battle Challenge! Round 1, and Battle Challenge! Round 2 were added.

Unlike most story events, all story areas in this event after the first one could only be unlocked after completing certain missions. Raihan's Photo Op required the player to obtain 650 Event Vouchers N, High-Flying Skyla required the player to obtain 650 Event Vouchers M, and Spectacular May required the player to obtain 650 Event Vouchers L. Players could earn a medal upon completing any one of these story areas for the first time. Meanwhile, the story area Sincere Thanks required the player to complete all three of these story areas.

This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with teams using various theme skills, earning medals and other rewards.

May	No! This is completely out of nowhere! I can't just go up onstage all of a sudden. Not with Lisia and all the other talented performers...
Brendan	Lisia chose you, right? That means you've got what it takes! I know you'll be awesome up there together with Latias!
May	Brendan... You're right. I've always wanted to give this a try. I'm not going to let this chance pass me by! I’ll do it!
Brendan	All right! I'll be cheering for you!
May	Will you go up onstage with me, Latias? OK, let's go!
Lisia	Now that all the great contest idols are here onstage... Let's start the performance!

Steven	Watching May and the others onstage really makes you think. When it comes to Pokémon, being strong isn't everything. Competing to see who's the cutest or most beautiful is another great way to build strong bonds between Pokémon and their Trainers.
Brendan	Yeah... May's always been the type to treasure her bond with her Pokémon. To see May onstage being recognized for that, and to see her have a chance to shine... It's awesome!
May	Yeah, that's it, Latias! You're in the groove! OK, let's keep going. Now show the crowd something spectacular!

Lisia	That was such an amazing Contest Spectacular!
Wallace	By competing, we brought out the best in each other and reached even higher dimensions! It truly was a miraculous performance!
Fantina	While I was dancing, I couldn't help but be captivated by the dances of my rivals!
Lisia	I made the right choice, scouting you for this contest, didn't I?
May	I was really nervous at first, but little by little, I got used to it! It's all thanks to Latias! She supported me the whole way through!
Lisia	She did?
May	Latias can sense people's emotions and use telepathy to communicate her feelings. She was able to sense what the people in the audience wanted and passed that on to me.
Lisia	Wow, that's amazing! Come to think of it, you and Latias really were in sync onstage!
May	Hehehe. Thanks! We had a really good time.
Lisia	If that's the case, May... How about being a contest idol back in Hoenn?
May	Wh-what?!
Lisia	How about it? Your performance was wonderful, and you've really got good instincts!
May	Me? In Hoenn...? Yeah! I wanna give it a try! It makes me a bit nervous to think about... but I really want to learn more about Pokémon Contest Spectaculars! And as long as I'm together with Latias, I'll be OK!
Lisia	Yaaaay! Another successful scouting! Did you hear that, everyone? Today, a new contest idol is born!
May	I promise I'll train really hard! Once I've learned the ropes, I'll be back with confidence to do more performances! And when I do, I'll be looking forward to hearing your cheers!

Lear	sigh I didn't realize today was our Friendiversary... I'm really sorry I forgot, Hoopa. I'll never forget the day we met for as long as I live... and I don't know how it slipped my mind that today was the day. I'm grateful for everything you've done! I would've never been able to make things exciting here on Pasio if it weren't for you. So, from here on out...

Sawyer	Oh, young master! I never knew you were so grateful for our service, young master! We'll stay by your side forever!
Lear	What are you two doing here?! Hoopa! Where did Hoopa go?
Rachel	It called us here and then, like, went away.
Lear	Hoopaaaaa!
Raihan	There they go again. Hard to tell if those two are friends or enemies sometimes, huh. But y'know what? Meeting them for the first time was a good memory for me, too. I'm not joking. I'm really glad I was able to come to Pasio.
Skyla	I couldn't agree more! I've been able to meet so many sync pairs since I came here. If it weren't for Pasio, I probably never would've been able to meet either of you!
May	I feel the same way. I'm so glad I came to Pasio! I really treasure the friendships I've made here. I'll never forget the people or the Pokémon I got to know on Pasio!
