Release information

This card was originally released in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Nakaoka. It was reprinted with different artwork by Nakaoka in Great Encounters, originating from the Palkia LV.X Half Deck. Exclusively in Japan, it was distributed through a promotion at McDonald's. The English version of the promotional card was distributed with the Palkia Premium Box in both playable and jumbo sizes.

Trivia

The Great Encounters print erroneously credited Daisuke Ito as the illustrator, who illustrated the McDonald's print of the same card, instead of Nakaoka, the actual illustrator.

Origin

Spacial Rend is a move in the Pokémon games that Palkia can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond.
