The English print was first released in the {{TCG|Flashfire}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck}}. The original XY-P Promotional print was subsequently made available in the {{TCGMerch|XY|Era|Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre Card Box}} from December 13, 2014, and in the {{TCGMerch|XY BREAK|Era|Mega Mewtwo X & Mega Mewtwo Y Card Box}} from September 26, 2015.

===Sun & Moon Series===
Pal Pad was reprinted during the Sun & Moon Series as part of the {{TCG|Ultra Prism}} expansion with new artwork by [[Toyste Beach]], first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Ultra Sun}} expansion. In Japan, this print was reprinted as a {{TCG|SM-P Promotional cards|SM-P Promotional card}} and was given to participants of the Be Taught How to Play Corner held at each chosen School Festa 2018 venue across Japan between October 6 and November 30, 2018. Representatives from Pokémon circles in schools and universities were required to register their interest in hosting an event during the application period, which ran from July 6 until October 12, 2018. If selected, The Pokémon Company would supply the circle with all paraphernalia to host the event.<ref>[https://www.pokemon-card.com/event/card-event/school_festival_2018 ''株式会社ポケモンが、学園祭でのポケモンカードイベントをサポートさせていただきます。'' | Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website] ([https://web.archive.org/web/20181004103452/https://www.pokemon-card.com/event/card-event/school_festival_2018 archived copy])</ref> This print has the School Festa 2018 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. It was reprinted again in the Japanese {{TCG|Tag Team GX Deck Build Box}} and as another SM-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 329/SM-P. This print was one of nine possible cards included in special packs sent to Event Organizers in April 2019 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. It was reprinted in the Japanese {{TCG|Miracle Twin}} expansion with different artwork once again by Toyste Beach.

In Japan, a Mirror Holofoil version of the Ultra Sun print was released as yet another SM-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 406/SM-P. Release information

XY Series

This card was first released as one of the Japanese XY-P Promotional cards, made available alongside four other promotional cards in the Xerneas & Yveltal Card Box, released on December 13, 2013. The English print was first released in the Flashfire expansion, originating from the Japanese M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck. The original XY-P Promotional print was subsequently made available in the Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre Card Box from December 13, 2014, and in the Mega Mewtwo X & Mega Mewtwo Y Card Box from September 26, 2015.

Sun & Moon Series

Pal Pad was reprinted during the Sun & Moon Series as part of the Ultra Prism expansion with new artwork by Toyste Beach, first released in the Japanese Ultra Sun expansion. In Japan, this print was reprinted as a SM-P Promotional card and was given to participants of the Be Taught How to Play Corner held at each chosen School Festa 2018 venue across Japan between October 6 and November 30, 2018. Representatives from Pokémon circles in schools and universities were required to register their interest in hosting an event during the application period, which ran from July 6 until October 12, 2018. If selected, The Pokémon Company would supply the circle with all paraphernalia to host the event.[1] This print has the School Festa 2018 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. It was reprinted again in the Japanese Tag Team GX Deck Build Box and as another SM-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 329/SM-P. This print was one of nine possible cards included in special packs sent to Event Organizers in April 2019 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. It was reprinted in the Japanese Miracle Twin expansion with different artwork once again by Toyste Beach.

In Japan, a Mirror Holofoil version of the Ultra Sun print was released as yet another SM-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 406/SM-P. This print was available as a winner's prize at the 2020 Tokyo Champion's League, held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on September 22, 2019.[2] To qualify for a winner's prize, competitors in the Junior League were required to reach the Second Stage of the qualifying round, which required 2 consecutive wins at the First Stage. Competitors in the Senior, Master, and Open Leagues could qualify for a winner's prize by placing in the top 64 at the conclusion of the qualifying round, which was played over a maximum of 8 (Senior and Open) or 10 (Master) rounds of Swiss.[3] This print features the Championship Series 2020 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.

Sword & Shield Series

As the TCG transitioned into the Sword & Shield Series, Pal Pad was reprinted again with new artwork by Ryo Ueda in the Sword & Shield expansion, first released in the Japanese V Starter Set Fighting. In Japan, a Mirror Holofoil version of this print was released as a S-P Promotional card and was available as a winner's prize at the 2020 Aichi Champion's League, held at the Aichi International Exhibition Center, Tokoname on December 21, 2019.[4] The qualification criteria were the same as the first 2019-2020 Champion's League meeting.[5] This print also features the Championship Series 2020 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. It is likely the card would have been available at subsequent Champion's League meetings scheduled for the 2019-2020 season, but those events were canceled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6][7] It was later reprinted as a Non Holofoil in two of the nine Japanese V Starter Decks.

Scarlet & Violet Series

Pal Pad was reprinted with new artwork by Studio Bora Inc. in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion. This print features the updated Trainer card layout introduced with the Scarlet & Violet expansion.
