VS Ninjask (Japanese: VS テッカニン VS Tekkanin or もう１匹いる The Other Pokémon) is the 246th round of the Pokémon Adventures manga in the Ruby & Sapphire arc.
Synopsis
As Kyogre continues to press forward, Team Aqua clash furiously with Wattson, Winona, and Flannery. Amber has just arrived as reinforcements, and his Pelipper uses Stockpile and then Spit Up to strike Wattson's Manectric. The battle is now three-on-three, with Flannery and Angie, Winona and Ark, and Wattson and Amber going head-to-head.
Amber taunts Wattson, saying their fighting is giving Kyogre time to advance, but Wattson retorts that his own Electric-type Pokémon have the advantage in this fight, taking out Pelipper with one hit. Since Amber left all of his other Pokémon in the Seafloor Cavern, Angie tosses him a Poké Ball, which he claims is the "best of all" before releasing a Nincada. Wattson isn't impressed by Nincada's clumsy battling, asking whether it's really the best, but Nincada suddenly evolves into a Ninjask! The newly-evolved Pokémon's Agility lets it hit Manectric over and over without Manectric being able to land a blow, but Wattson counters speed with speed by ordering a Double Team. The bet pays off, as Manectric is able to bring down the lightning-fast Ninjask with a powerful Thunder, Manectric pinning Ninjask down and using its own body as a lightning rod to channel the electricity from the nearby storm. Though Manectric is down, Ninjask is too, and Amber doesn't have any more Pokémon--or so Wattson thinks.
Suddenly, from behind him strikes the Shedinja created when Nincada evolved into Ninjask, Amber explaining about the double evolution as Shedinja sends Wattson plummeting into the sea. Flannery and Winona try to help, but Angie's Ludicolo restrains Flannery, who screams out in horror as Wattson is lost.
