In [[Mahogany Town], The [[Goldenrod Radio Tower]] has invited the [[Pokemon Association]] Chairman for a programe on [[Mahogany Gym]][[Gym leader|leader]] [[Pryce]]. [[DJ Mary]] the hostess of the show introduces herself. Suddenly, the Chairman slips and falls on the frozen ground. The Director (of the show) checks on [[Whitney]]’s progress. With the help of [[Whitney's Miltank|her]] {{p|Miltank}}, Whitney makes her way down and reaches the bottom of a hidden valley. She is amazed to see a dome-shaped building made up of ice, She comes to know that it is the same Gym they are searching. She tells Mary that it is reason for  Mahogany Gym being referred as the Hall of {{wp|Absolute Zero}}.  
The [[Goldenrod Radio Tower|Radio Tower]] crew has invited the [[Pokémon Association]] Chairman to join them for a show about [[Mahogany Gym]]'s [[Gym Leader|Leader]] [[Pryce]], the Chairman's reason for joining them is due to an independent study regarding {{p|Suicune}}'s challenges through the [[Johto]] Gyms, he believes Pryce is the next Gym Leader to be challenged. [[DJ Mary]], the hostess of the show introduces herself as well as her friend [[Whitney]]. Shortly afterwards, Whitney slips through the ice and so do the others, they zigzag across the hall until Whitney commands {{TP|Whitney|Mil Mil|Miltank}} to use {{m|Stomp}}, successfully stopping everyone from sliding any further. A door opens with a loud creak, revealing an old man in a wheelchair. It's Pryce.
Whitney pushes the door of the gym. Mary starts introducing about the Gym. She thanks Whitney being the chief-guest of the show,the Chairman  explains the real reason behind their visit. They are suspecting Suicuine to show up at the Mahogany Gym. The door on the other side of the room opens and an old man sitting on a wheelchair appears with his two {{p|Seel}}s. Pushing himself forward with a wooden crutch, he apologizes for the dangerous ice bed in the gym. The Chairman guesses the old man to be  be the infamous ice expert Pryce and Whitney is shocked to hear the gym leader of Mahogany is an old man. The Chairman introduces himself and wishes that Pryce doesn’t mind uninvited guests. Pryce is sure glad to have company and tells them to come into his sculpture room while he makes some tea.
 
Inside the sculpture room, everyone is shocked to see numerous lively Pokémon ice crafts. Mary thinks that it is what Pryce does for a living, and Whitney imagines how the ice sculptures are sold since it doesn’t seem convenient for Pryce to move about. . Mary spots a sculpture of Suicune, and everyone gathers around to admire it.
The Chairman and Whitney are shocked upon seeing the little man, but the Chairman promptly apologizes for showing up unexpected and introduces himself. The producer asks about the Gym, to which Pryce replies that to his age, anyone is a coward and such, he has to protect himself from any unfriendly intruders. The Leader then invites them for a cup of tea and have a talk.
 
As they enter deeper into the Gym, ice sculptures crafted by Price guard the entrance, they share an uncanny resemblance to {{p|Charizard}}, {{p|Chansey}}, {{p|Lanturn}} and {{p|Bellossom}}, as the group passes by, they wonder how they are sold, considering Pryce's current state; the Chairman then notes that his Pokémon are the ones who run his errands, so he won't have the need of leaving the Gym ever.
 
Suddenly, they spot a {{p|Suicune}} sculpture. Whitney claims it's because Suicune would never come challenge Pryce seeing him as weak, and in order to comfort himself, he did a statue of it. However, the statue starts to crack apart, revealing it's Suicune itself. The Chairman suggests that it was the opposite of what Whitney said: Pryce might have battled it, but he actually won.
 
Since Suicune was frozen but not captured, Whitney saw a chance to challenge it and sends her two [[baby Pokémon]], {{p|Cleffa|Fafa}} and {{p|Igglybuff|Buff Buff}} to use {{m|Double Attack}} and {{m|Sweet Kiss}} respectively, successfully {{status|Confusion|confusing}} it. Whitney then orders Mil Mil to use {{m|Rollout}} which rolls even faster and more powerful due to the slippery floor, knocking Suicune down. Whitney starts gloating over her victory as Pryce comes in, and Whitney gleefully tells him he defeated it, but suddenly something's wrong; Suicune is now back on its feet and Mil Mil is seen laying on the ground, defeated.
 
Suicune and Pryce glare at each other, the Chairman and Whitney argue about Pryce, with her questioning his abilities. The Chairman says that Pryce is the most experienced Gym Leader, also known as ''Pryce of Eternal Ice Walls''.

Irked Igglybuff and Curmudgeonly Cleffa/Kiss Away Cleffa! Igglybuff! (Japanese: VSピィ&ププリン VS. Py & Pupurin) is the 143rd round of the Gold, Silver & Crystal arc in the Pokémon Adventures manga.
