What a Dragonite (Japanese: VSカイリュー VS. Kairyu) is the twenty-fourth round of the Pokémon Adventures manga.
Synopsis
In the depths of Route 19, Red is seen alongside Poli searching for HM03 with the Itemfinder; the boy having earlier consulted Professor Oak on the need of HMs to complete his journey. The fact that Red's rival, Blue, had already located the Hidden Machine, only fuels his determination to find it. Although Red successfully locates the item, he is astonished to discover a Dragonite lurking in the waters nearby, who asserts its territory and flings them out of the water.
Knowing that he cannot reach the HM unless he gets the Dragonite out of the water, Red has Pika go underwater to lure Dragonite out of the water, with help from Saur's vine.
