Something Happened!! Let's Go After Pikachu!! (Japanese: 事件発生!? ピカチュウを追え! Something Happened?! Follow Pikachu!) is the third chapter of the Pokémon Ruby-Sapphire manga.

Synopsis

Ruby is scouting atop a ledge when he sees Red's Pikachu with Clefairy. He excitedly runs over and bribes Clefairy with food so that he can trade one of his Pokémon with Pikachu. Clefairy accepts the food, and Ruby leaves a Poké Ball behind, which, much to Clefairy's great shock, contains a Treecko.

Treecko, having heard everything from its Poké Ball, wanted to tell Red what Clefairy did. Clefairy, however, hears Red and Tyrogue coming back and panics, knocking out Treecko and disguising it as Pikachu in the bushes. When the group realize that the real Pikachu is missing, Clefairy says that Pikachu went to the ramen store and runs away quickly, saying that he will take Pikachu back. When Red hears the truth from Treecko, they hurry to Ruby's home in the city to take Pikachu back.

Clefairy locates Ruby's house, where he can see Ruby, his Pokémon and Pikachu having tea. To get in, Clefairy disguises half of himself as a man and the other half as a woman. He knocks on the front door, and while Ruby is reeling in confusion, Red, Treecko, and Tyrogue break through the window to steal Pikachu back.
