The Final Match and a Surprising Finale! (Japanese: 決勝！！ 意外な結末！ It's Decided!! An Unexpected Conclusion!) is the seventh round of the Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon arc of the Pokémon Adventures manga.

Plot

Major events

• Moon and Gladion continue their battle.
• Moon learns about Regional variants from Samson Oak.
• Gladion defeats Moon and advances to the final round.
• Sun and Gladion begin their battle against each other.
• A mysterious energy shoots from the crack in the sky and hits the Sparkling Stone on Sun's wrist.
• The energy allows Dollar to fire a powerful attack that defeats Gladion's Type: Null.
• Sun passes out from exhaustion.
• Gladion leaves and reveals that his goal is to defeat the Ultra Beasts.
• The next day, Sun awakens on a boat with the island challenge amulet, where he meets the Rotom Pokédex.
