Outrage (Japanese: げきりん Imperial Rage) is a very damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Generation II

Outrage does damage for 2-3 turns. While the user is using Outrage, it cannot use any other attacks and the trainer cannot recall the user. After Outrage is finished, the user becomes confused. The battle screen will not show a message box saying that the user became confused.

Outrage has a base power of 90 (like Thrash and Petal Dance) in this generation.

Generation III

The effects of Outrage are the same as the previous generation, however, the battle screen will show a message box saying that the user became confused.

Generation IV

The effects of Outrage are the same as the previous generation, however, the base power has been increased to 120.
