(Japanese: オリバ Oriba) is a character of the day who appeared in The Ole' Berate and Switch!.
Oriba and his Marowak competed against Ash and Corphish in a Pokémon Tournament in Sable City. After blocking several attacks, Marowak was eventually defeated by the Water-type Pokémon.

| Oriba used Marowak against Ash's Corphish. It used Bonemerang, which hit its opponent, taking Ash by surprise. Marowak blocked several attacks, but its defense strategy ended after Corphish knocked its bone away. It suffered a direct hit from Crabhammer and was knocked out.
