(Japanese: セイヤ Seiya) is a character of the day who appeared in SS020. He is from Goldenrod City.
During the Pokémon Orienteering competition, Seiya met Ash and challenged him to a Normal Class Pokémon World Championships battle. He sent out his Meganium against Ash's Pikachu, and despite having the type advantage, Meganium lost after a tough battle. Afterwards, he congratulated Ash and promised he would be victorious in the next battle.
