Sumiru Village (Japanese ??? Sumiru Village) is an anime based location in between of Santalune City and Lumiose City. It is a small village from where the Ryhorn race starts.


In the anime

Ash, Bonnie, Clemont and Serena first encountered some Rhyhorn on their way to Lumiose City then, Officer Jenny told them that they were in the Rhyhorn race course. Then they went to the village and got to know that this was the starting place for the Rhyhorn race, Then after Ash decided to participate in the race and borrowed a Rhyhorn from the Rhyhorn rental place.
