Nicolette (Japanese: シロミ Shiromi) is a character of the day who appeared in May's Egg-cellent Adventure. She works at a breeding center with her parents, Christopher and Jeannie, who raise Pokémon Eggs.
Nicolette hid in some bushes when May was zapped by Voltorb. After coming out of hiding, she told her that they guard the farm and attack anyone who trespass. Nicolette eventually recognized May as the winner of the Saffron City Contest. Her parents come by and invite Ash and his friends over. She revealed that she had dreams of becoming a Pokémon Coordinator like May, but didn't think she could handle it. Later on, Nicolette challenged May to a battle, with her Vileplume against May's Munchlax. However, it was defeated after Munchlax learned Focus Punch.
Eventually, Nicolette and May talked things out and they became friends. May even built up Nicolette's confidence to become a Pokémon Coordinator. After the battle, she and May went to one of the storage rooms to check out the collection of Eggs lined up on the shelves. May shared her travel stories with Nicolette. Back at Nicolette's house, the group decide to share their travel stories when Christopher asked them to do so but Nicolette left. May found her by the storage rooms, polishing an Egg. As May polished an Egg, Nicolette revealed that she was afraid that she wouldn't succeed on her journey as a Coordinator. Despite May's motivational speech, Nicolette was still reluctant to officially start her journey.
When Team Rocket attacked the farm with their mecha, Nicolette sent out her Vileplume to prevent Team Rocket from leaving with the Eggs. After Team Rocket was defeated, she and the others watched as the glowing Egg hatched into a Vulpix. She gave an Egg to May as a show of thanks for helping her out.

| Nicolette's Vileplume made its first appearance when Nicolette challenged May to a battle. After attacking and paralyzing May's Munchlax, Vileplume was eventually defeated by its Solar Beam.
Vileplume was later used to stop Team Rocket when they tried to steal the Eggs. Vileplume's known moves are Petal Dance, Solar Beam, Stun Spore, and Bullet Seed. | ||
